I'm Val (she/her), a mixed race queer individual from the Pacific Northwest. I love plants, poetry, and I've been writing off and on for a while. Poetry is more than just art to me, it's the way I process the heaviest of my emotions. It's something I've been in love with since I was just a kid, and I've been writing poems of various degrees of quality for a while now.
In addition to that, I spend a lot of time outside - please forgive the spartan nature of this webpage, I'm not nearly as tech-savvy as some of my more talented peers. I don't understand web design. But I do understand nature, and the importance of connecting with it and being close to one's environment. So you'll also find information about some of the plants I regularly encounter where I'm living, and I'll share cool and useful information about them here.
